I have to resist the temptation! I have a small yard and a limited ability to collect rainwater (though I'm thinking about installing a rain barrel). The two new pitcher plants are from Mike Wang's collection. He has a huge selection of beautiful plants at good prices. Highly recommended.

My two Sarracenia purpurea sub venosa var burkii (or S. rosea) have moved on to new homes. In their place, I now have an S. flava var cuprea and an S. flava var atropurpurea. These latest additions came from Mike Wang's fantastic collection of pitcher plants, as did my S. flava var ornata and S. leucophylla. Good stuff!

One more change to the line-up: I traded one of my Sarracenia purpurea sub venosa plants for an S. purpurea sub venosa var burkii (or S. rosea) that I had earlier. The Gulf-coast plant is much more vigorous that my East-coast plant. They're both doing well, but the Gulf-coast plant has twice as many pitchers, and they're larger, too.
